Employee Education System (EES)
This is one of several logos designed to be part of a logo family--all of a similar style but each uniquely different. The leadership who commissioned this was interested in a continuity across the divisions within EES. With each division modernizing and embracing contemporary business models, the logos needed to reflect this new multidimensionality. So I opted to introduce a 3D look rather than a flat design. The Broadcast Division embodies both traditional production skills and artistry while employing the latest technology; I incorporated a traditional aperture reference with a rounded viewing screen shape to embody this integration of tradition and technology. There is a careful balance between these two ideas, so I needed a careful balance between the weight of the logomark and the text.
