HINQ
This logo was proposed as part of a training initiative for Hospital Inquiry at the Department of Veterans Affairs. HINQ is a database-driven program for sharing financial information between departments and facilities. The stakeholders wanted this technological aspect conveyed visually without the logo seeming "too techy." I chose to customize aspects of a typeface that had a retro-techno computer readout feel to it--to give it a bit of personality. The bolder stroke of the "hinq" typeface is meant to elicit trust in the program and to represent the solid integrity of the data.
